- Mommy was driving home from work on Nov. 3, 2004, when she saw a little black head on the side of the road. I saw the lady stop, get out of the car, and come over my way. I was curious, and comfy so I just lay there. She looked really worried & said she thought I’d been hurt and that she was going to go home to “get Greg” & I should just wait there. Being a cat I’m naturally inquisitive, so I decided to wait & see what she meant. When she came back she had a nice man with her & when he squatted down & called me, I ran right to his lap. Hey, it seemed like a nice place to be. Mommy scooped me up & took me home to take care of me. They said I was going to be their very own kitty & set about “fattening me up.” I’ve been pampered and spoiled ever since. I'm also named for a guitar god.

Nothings better than catching some sunbeams! It sure beats being caught by an alligator! haha
p.s. I really did have to run from alligators back in my wilder days, just in case that sounded weird. :)

Dearest mr Hendrix! I hope you do not think me too ungracious of a kitty for taking such a long time to return your visit. You can only imagine how happy I was to see you come cheer me on while I was so very sick. Mommy was heartbroken and thought for sure I would not regain any of my spirit and was prepared for the worst. But I was worth a small miracle. With your purrrayers and some good medicine, I have regained my strength day by day. Mommy would not have made it through her worries about me without your comfort. Each night we keep you in our prayers and wish you endless Blessings this Thanksgiving season.

That is so true! The staff says I don't sleep but fall in a coma - because I CAN now that I have such a nice and safe home!

I am so sorry that I haven’t gotten back to ya sooner but I was having all kinds of blogging problems at my end, don’t know what happened. I sure hope it doesn’t happen again. Glad that it didn’t get in the way of Part I of CCSI. Part II today, glad ya are enjoying the show.

I just came back from 2 weeks holidays in Egypt and had a cute visitor there in my hotel room.
You look so sweet in that photo! Thanks for inviting me over during my Home Alone stint. It's a few weeks away yet but I dread this time of the year when SS often goes away for digs and other things
