Raising a Paw
I hope it counts that I'm raising my paw for a toy too. I'm going out on a limb on my cat blog, but I am raising a paw for "Dogs Deserve Better." We all know many wonderful woofies and they all do deserve better than being chained up outside away from love, shelter and soft couches.
In our area, just this year, there have been 3 charges of animal cruelty against evil beans for letting the woofies in their "care" get a chain so embedded in their necks that they got infected and couldn't reach food or even lay down. That is the most awful thing a cat can imagine (besides hunger) is no being able to lay down.
The nice beans at Dogs Deserve Better are fighting the good fight bringing one of human's best friends inside where they belong.
Mommy says that Chance will be going to his new home tomorrow so we'll be able to visit more. She spends lots of time upstairs with him cause he has to be in that crate all day and night if he isn't snoopervised (Bendrix! No you can't "Snoopervise" the kitten!). Mommy and daddy are meeting his forever mommy Nellie in the Washington, PA area tomorrow!
So, we'll be able to post more and visit more next week. Take care and don't forget us!

That is good cause. It is sad to see woofies abused. They can't help if they stupid dogs and need to be looked after, all the time. They do deserve better.
Thank you for supporting Dogs Deserve Better. I had always been an indoor dog, but when OldMommy had a baby bean she left me outside on a chain for longer and longer periods of time. When Daddy & NewMommy finally rescued me, I was skin and bones and had lost a lot of fur, especially around my neck where the chain was. Now I spend my days snoozing on the big bed and my evenings chasing kittens! But I know other dogs are not that lucky, so thank you for raising a paw. -Kesey
It's the wrong season, but Washington, Pa. is the home of the baseball team the Washington Wild Things. This sounds like a good team for Bendrix!
Chance, good luck on your trip! We can't wait to hear what happens next! -R&T
Good job raising your paw :-D Nice choice of charity. Dogs needs to be saved from abuse also.
I'm so glad Chance is going to his forever home tomorrow :-)
Excellent cause.I believe that no animal should be abused!!! If beans insist on having pets, they MUST be responsible and held accountable!!
That is a very good cause. Doggies do deserve loving forever homes just like us kitties! Good job, Hendrix and Bendrix!
That is very nice of you to do that for woofies. I'm excited about Chance's now home, it sounds great!!

Hello Hendrix!
I'll support Dogs Deserve Better. (of course all kittes deserve better, too!)
Chance is a very bootiful kitty. I am sure you have been an excellent foster brudder. I am happy that he will move to a forever home. Please tell your mommy & daddy a safe trip to Washington. I like what his mommy has already created a blog for him. ;)
Momo
pee ess: Thank you for your welcome comment to my little brudder.
That sounds like a very good cause you are raising your paw for. All animals deserve to be loved and cared for!
I think you picked a very excellent cause to raise your paw for. I have some very good doggie friends, so this is an important cause, too.
I am so happy that Chance is going home. I have already been to his blog and it is so wonderful how excited they are about his arrival.
Mr Hendrix,

That is a lovely post on Dogs Deserve Better.
RAising a paw fer a toy is just as important!
Dat is a furry good cause, Hendrix! Dogs do deserve better den being chained up away from da beans. All ya gotta do is watch some of dem woofies wif beans who love dem to know dat dey would rather be slobbering on a hooman den chained in a yard. We can't wait to hear how Chance likes his new furever home...dis is aciting.
Safe travels to your beans. Glad that Chance will get to his furrever home.
Have a safe trip to your noo house Chase.
It never hurts to have Cats and Dogs stand up for each other,,,,,I have never had to have one of them things around my neck, and never will as long as I have my mom.Nothing like snuggles with the moms on a cold night,God Bless you Hendrix Boogie
Great cause, Mr. H. Very very sad. Breaks our hearts whenever we see a chained dog.
We are sorry if you already know this, but we think you were asking about how to know how persons and cats find your blog? ie, search terms? You can go to sitemeter.com and get a free one! Put the code in your blog, and it will look like the one at the very bottom of our blog.
Go click on our site meter and you can see the first page which is the ISP and time of the visits. Click the box to the left with the number in it, and you can see specific info on each visitor, including how long they stayed and how they got to your blog (referral link). If it was via a search engine, it will show you the search phrase they plugged in that linked to your blog. It's very interesting. And be sure you set it to not record your own visits or else all of your info over and over will drive you crazy.
Have a great time today!
You are a great guy, Mr. H, raisin' a paw for doggies. Coco says thank you very much. And we look forward to hearing from Chase from his new forever home!
Your buddy, Jimmy Joe
Yay for forever homes!
What a wonderful idea Mr.Hendrix! Dogs Deserve Better is a great organization. I'll bet Chance's Mommy is very excited!
It's always sad to hear about animal abuse. Did you see Asta's posting? I have visited Chance's blog a couple of times already and will be calling in again to see him in his new home.
That's a wonderful cause to raise your paw for, my friend!
Woofies are totally adorable and they deserve all our love. They seem so cute all the time ~ too bad some beans forget to take care of their dogs - leading to their physical and psychological abuse.
We guess you'll miss Chance too. Hope he finds lots of love in his furrever home :)
We've got a new bloggie of our own. Come visit:
http://snowandforest.blogspot.com/
Woofies aren't our favrite creatures (they are all big round here an we dint used ta haf a fence), but we wish no harm to the nice ones either.
So good luck on winnin fer them...
Were you able to meet Chance's new Mom yesterday? Because of the snow, I was wondering.
It is furry nice of you to stand up for woofies! I have one woofy uncle and two woofy cousins and I would feel terrible if anything like that happened to them.
And PS. Thanks for my purthday wishes!!!
Some cats might not raise their paw for dogs, so you're to be commended for your open acceptance of diversity and clear sense of what's right and what's wrong. If one animal suffers, we all suffer.
That is very good cause, I love seeing your article~!!
I won't forget you guys~! Hope you could be back sooner~!
