Wow! Remember how on Thursday mommy cracked windows for me and the sun was shining and "all was right with the world?" Well no open windows today! I can't even see out my windows.
At 8:00am we had 9 inches of snow in our yard, 2+ inches have fallen since then and the snow is still falling! Crazy! The drifts are huge. Our area is expecting another 3 inches in the next 3 hours. They are estimating we'll get 12 inches total. We are all snowed in and almost every local business is closed. There is almost no visibility in some areas because of blizzard conditions. Our road can't be seen at all!
Thank goodness I have a cabinet full of stinky and crunchies. No worries we'll run out. My mommy went to the store on Thursday so they are good with food and we have underground wires so we probably we won't lose power. The whole city of Cincinnati and outlying areas in OH, KY & IN.
Here are some pictures of when mommy went to fill the birdfeeders at 8:00am this morning. I can't even see them because the wind blew the snow back in front of my windows!
This chickadee eats out of a feeder I can see from the window by my scratching post.
Finches eating out of one of our 2 finch feeders. nom nom nom
The reason we need 2 finch feeders. They sit in the burning bush waiting for a refill!
Cross your paws and finges the weather clears for tomorrow. Mommy was supposed to meet with the Fundraising Committee at her shelter to put together their donation for the Annual Auction on the 15th but everyone is snowed in. They are going to try again tomorrow.

AWAY!
We is quite happy we no longer live up thataway.
Dis has been a furry hard winter! We sure do hope it's over real soon. It snowed again last night here but nothing like yoo is getting! Dad looked out da window this morning and sed a bunch of bad words and mom just keeps yelling at da sky when it snows "stop it, just stop it now!".
woah look at that blizzard! Crikey! Stay inside where it's warm. That won't be a problem for Bendrix given that he resides in hell.
What, I'm just saying! hehe j/k
Brrrr! Stay warm and cozy. That sure is a lot of snow.
Heehee, look at what Yao-Lin said!
Wowsers!!!
Nashville was estimated to get 3 - 4 inches yesterday. We woke up this morning to about 1/2 an inch and it is just about all melty now except where the sun hasn't hit.
I put my paw out in it and was none too pleased.
My gosh--I hope you all stay warm. What a winter!
I can relate Hendrix, that is the weather we had here most of the winter. Sorry you are getting dumped on, but glad it missed us for a change.
Crikey! It is the beginning of fall here.
Holy cow!! I need to call my Nanny, Pop, and Auntie Kelly. (They live just outside of Cincinnati.) I hope they both enough kibble for Sassy the woofie!
Stay warm!!

Oh WOW! The weather is weird today. It was 70 degrees here yesterday and this morning Daddy woke us up with the annoucement that it was snowing here too! Thankfully the snow stopped and now it's just cold and windy but darn it! We thought it was spring already!! You guys stay warm and safe!!!!
Wow Mr. Hendrix, those are some pawsome birdies! A whole tree full! I have never seen so many birdies sitting all together like that. Don't they see you staring at them from the window? You got lotsa snow too. We had visitors from Kentucky last week who loved our spring weather. They're enjoying (hee hee) the same blizzard as you are right now.
Paws, Halloween
Oh, yuck, Hendrix! Spring obviously hasn't sprung and I say it needs to spring right now! I am SO over winter.
Do you go out in the snow? I can't, because I'm white and my mom says I would disappear. But that doesn't explain why she won't let me go out alone in the spring ... I mean, I'm not green!
Rocky
Hi my sweetie. It has been cold here, and I have been snuggling with mama today.
Maybe I should come snuggle with you??
I love your birdies.
Wowzers!!!! That is a lot of snow!!! That is a stay in day for sure.Snuggle with yer Mom :)

Oh man, buddy, that is a lot of snow! We haven't gotten a snow storm like that all winter, which is unusual, actually. We just have lots of ice.

Tell your Mommy thanks for sharing her snow and birdie pictures. They're very nice.
All that snow. I was watching the TV and saw that your part of the world was getting hit pretty good. I think that would freak me out.
Mike is going on an adventure in April. If you want to have him come for a visit, come to my site and tell me in my comment box.

Wowee! That's a ton of snow! That's neat that you have so many finches. We don't have that many anymore since Maw cut down the bushes in the back...
