Hi, sorry again we haven't been around much but when it rains it pours. My mommy's family needs lotsa purrs right now.
My great-grandma Ethel (mommy's mommy's mom) is very ill. It is her time to go be with my great-grandpa and the priest came yesterday. But, even with the morphine she is in so much pain she cries. Please purr and pray that her pain is releaved.
Also, my cousin Echo, my grandma's (mommy's mom) kitty hasn't eaten in 4 days. They took him to the VET in between being with my GG Ethel and the VET gave him IV fluids and a vitamin shot to stimulate his appitite. Echo did eat some Tempations last night, but he has lost 5oz and isn't eating his regular food.
He could use lotsa purrs and any suggestions you have. The scans didn't show any blockages on the X-rays, but his kidneys showed and lower white blood cell count and an elevated something else (mommy can't remember what). Pancreatitis was suggested but he needs to go back if he doesn't eat today.
We also have not heard the results from Mason's biopsy and mommy is STILL sick and having nosebleeds at least once a day.
We'll keep you posted on everything, but please keep us in your purrs and prayers.

- Mommy was driving home from work on Nov. 3, 2004, when she saw a little black head on the side of the road. I saw the lady stop, get out of the car, and come over my way. I was curious, and comfy so I just lay there. She looked really worried & said she thought I’d been hurt and that she was going to go home to “get Greg” & I should just wait there. Being a cat I’m naturally inquisitive, so I decided to wait & see what she meant. When she came back she had a nice man with her & when he squatted down & called me, I ran right to his lap. Hey, it seemed like a nice place to be. Mommy scooped me up & took me home to take care of me. They said I was going to be their very own kitty & set about “fattening me up.” I’ve been pampered and spoiled ever since. I'm also named for a guitar god.

I hope your great grandma's pain comes to an end. And I don't mean that like a meaniehead, just that I wish she wasn't hurting.
When my pancreas is acting up, my amylase levels are also up. For a long time I had to do this thing with an antibiotic called Baytril...10 days on, 2 weeks off, something like that. They called it "pulsing antibiotics." And I did it for a couple of years.
I wasn't eating at first, either, but then the Woman opened a can of chicken (like a can of tune, but not) and I nibbled a tiny little bit of that. And the stabby guy said to try giving me turkey baby food (onion powder free)...I didn't eat that but it smelled good and I wish I could try it now. MAybe they could try to get Echo to eat something like that?
Sometimes when you stop eating, it's just hard to remember how to start again...

Oh Mr.Hendrix, your family is in my prayers. I am so sorry all of this is happening. I hope your Great Grandma's pain will stop soon and that everyone is getting healthy again.

Oh no, Hendrix, we are so sorry. Please know that you are all in out thoughts and prayers.
The only suggestion we have for Echo is the appetite stimulant that helped Cal recently. It is called mirazapine (rameron) and it is given once every 3 days. We sure hope Echo starts feeling better and eats very soon.
