That looks like a tail that is in a good position to get stepped on....take it from me, the furless ones are terrible about that.

Could be worse...mine doesn't get all clogged up like that, but I get so many emails offering to make my goodies even goodier, and the People had them cut off so there's no point in me replying.... =sigh=
