I am so thankful that my good friend MuShue and his sister Lilly Lu are all healthy now. I'm also happy that they gave me, Hendrix the Gold Star Award. Bendrix got one, but not me so now we're even.
OK, one big long whine: I'm whining cause I have to take this white icky medicine and my daddy is out of town so mommy has to wrestle me into the towel and "strong arm me" herself to shoot the nasty stuff down my throat and I hate it so much that I won't even let her pet me (even tho I still lay on the couch by her) and it messes up my tummy so I puked this morning.
There, all done until tonight when we have to do it all over again.

Poor Hendrix! Be brave! I've had my share of nasty medication, and it is never fun. I have trained mommy to give me extra temptations right after I choke down the nasty stuff, though, so it isn't all bad.

Poor Hendrix, we hate taking medicine too! Its nasty. Make sure that your Mommy gives you lots of treats and new toys to make up for it.
Medicines: Yuck! Sometimes medicines taste better when you have something delicious inside your tummy already. Taking it on an empty stomach makes me sick.

Hendrix, I'm sorry to hear you have to take yucky medicine! If you have to be made sleepy at the Vets so they can examine you how the heck did the Vet think your Mummy would be able to give you this medicine? Your Mummy is very brave for even trying!

Sorry you have to take icky medicine, I always fought momma when I had to take stuff then a breeder told us a trick. Liquid medicine could be mixed with a 1/4 - 1/2 can of Stinky Goodness. Friskies Tender Cuts with Ocean White Fish in Sauce works very well because the strong fishy oils cover the medicine smell. Empress and I both take it this way and lick the bowl clean. Momma wishes she had know this trick LONG ago.~Queen Snickers
How come Bendrix gets awards and not you? Whew, we're so glad we gave you one the other day or we'd feel real guilty about now. It just wouldn't be right for such a good snoopervisor to not have an award for something.
