I love it! I'm actually scratching ON the mat and not next to it.
See how I scratch so good and deep I actually tuck my toesies back after lifting my paws so I can stretch them out really good for a looooooong scratch.
This is me resting after my good scratch session. Then I heard something by the window I usually sit at.
This is a half a second before I tore over to the window to check out the squirrel sitting on the ledge. He looked yummy, I mean, um, fun to play with.

You and I, my friend, would get along really well. I LOVE to scratch cardboard like that and I also like to "watch" the squirrles.

THIS IS MY FAV-O-RITE toy in the whole wide world. Momma has four of them all over the house for me. It is the only thing I will really play on. I love to scratch on it and sometimes on the one Momma got me I will play with the little ball that is on the inside. My cardboard toy has a little elevation to it. I just love it! I know you will love yours too.

Those scratchie mats are awesome! Mommy got one for us when we first came to live here and we wore it out! She just got us a new one. They are also nice to nap on. What a nice Grandma you have!
That looks like a good scratcher and you can also bat that butterfly around! What a nice Grandma to buy you something just because she loves you!
I think a squirrel would be furry yummy, too! And we've gotta lot in common. We Ballicai have got those kindsa scratchy pads around, and me and Brainball and Marilyn just love 'em! Dorydoo seems to like scratchin' on chairs bettur sometimes, though, hehe!

what a wonderful Grandma you have! those things are purrfect for the claws. it's the furrst thing we all do when we wake up - sharpen up the claws for a new day.
