Although the daytime this weekend was pretty and sunny, the evenings and morning brought pouring rains and blowy winds. Daddy even needed an umbrella to go get the paper! House Panthers do NOT like getting wet and Mancats know we should be prepared for anything. So, here I am, ready for the flood!
UPDATE: Guess what!! Mommy finally checked email and comments and the great Zoolatry named ME (not Bendrix so there!) their Best In Show from May 17 - May 24!!! Mommy has been "under the weather" lately (I don't get it...the weather is outside) so she didn't even turn the computer on all weekend and I almost missed it!

Ivy wants Bendrix to know that she escaped out the backdoor three times last week - twice on Almost Dad and once on Grandmama! She is very proud of herself, but mommy told her she is grounded.
We got a lot of rain yesterday. Yuck. Thankfully today it's all clear again :-)
Good idea, Hendrix! If it is just sprinkling, you can use it as an umbrella, and if it really pours, it will be a good boat!

Hendrix, if the water starts to rise, that thing could FLOAT! And you could swirl right outside and down the street-we have flash floods prakally every time it rains, and the water carries everything DOWN THE STREET!
Oh rain is bad. We had lots recently. It has stopped for now. Really hope this summer is better than last, it rained so much last summer it never really felt like summer at all! Of course it has to rain during Wimbledon fortnight, that is traditional...
Oh Mr. Hendrix, I am so glad you got best of show. I hope your Mom is feeling better now. Sure wish we would get some rain. It has gotten to hot to fast here. Sure looks like you are all prepared just in case, sitting inside the umbrella. At least you can float.
