Wednesday Stuff

First, as we were posting, mommy was catching up on today's blogosphere news page and we are so sad to hear the Georgia has crossed the Bridge. We know she is happy and healthy and pain free playing in the warm sun and green grass at the Bridge, but we are sad because of our loss. We are sending many comforting purrs and prayers to Georgia's family. purrrrrrrrrrrs
Please keep them in your thoughts.

I got some amazing mail on Monday! I got my Daisy Hallmark cards! They were right on time. We are very happy to have lotsa things to celebrate this year so mommy got plenty of cards to share. If you can, be sure to support Daisy since she is in the running to get an "official" Hallmark card for always!

We are more than "annoyed" (mommy wants to clean up her language now that a blurpy is on the way) that Michael Vick was released today. We don't think his sentance was nearly long enough. We hope he has actually rehabilitated himself and leareed his lesson but we doubt it. His actions were evil in the truest since of the word. The article on yahoo says "Vick has said he wants to work with the Humane Society of the United States on a program aimed at eradicating dogfighting among urban teens, society president Wayne Pacelle said Tuesday. Pacelle said he recently met with Vick at the federal prison in Leavenworth. Vick requested the meeting, one his attorneys, said." I hope his heart is in it. We will be watching.

I was so sad to learn about Georgia, but at least she went peacefully in her mom's arms. When it is my time, I hope that's how I go.

Thank you ever so much for getting my cards! I am in first place thanks to friends like you!

Sorry to hear about Georgia, heading over to leave purrs.

As for MV, I'd like to put his heart "in it". (oh, did I say that out loud? sorta oops)

MomBean has some words too about that Vick guy, but none of them would go past the bad word filter.

That guy is lower than the bottom of a stinky uncleaned litterbox.

Oh thank you for thinking of Georgia! We have no doubt that she is happier now for passing.

The Vick thing is irritating, isn't it?

OMC! We are outraged that Michael Vick was released - so we will send some BAD karma his way!!!!
We did support Daisy in the card thing already a long time ago - we'll head over, maybe we can do more...
Very sad that Georgia crossed - but we are glad she did it on her own - we feel that is always the better way to go....
And last but not least:
You might have watched the latest CCSI caper already (we are beyond being organized!) - but of you didn't - you got to check it out!!! It is done totally different than the others and just way cool!!!

We were also saddened here to learn of Georgia's passing, but we felt the same as you - happy that she was free of her illness.

Those Daisy cards look awesome. We hope you enjoy them.

When it comes to Mr. Vick, here's to hoping second chances are worth giving.

It is so sad when our blogging friends leave us, but the Bridge is an awesome place to be, and you are right: no more pain, just warm sun and grass!
You were right when you visited us and commented that Momma Cat would bring her kittens to me for food! Pictures at our blog!

Have you and your mum seen the Vick Dog Blog? Some of the Vicktory dogs post about how they're doing. They sure are wonderfully resiliant creatures.

Hi Hendrix,

The deal was sealed, Vick IS indeed working with HSUS to educate urban kids on the dangers and cruetly of dogfighting. Many people think this is the wrong move on the HSUS's part. Mom wrote an article about it and how people up here in Cleveland reacted. (http://www.examiner.com/x-10601-Cleveland-Pet-Rescue-Examiner)

We will send purr-rayers for Georgia!

Purrs,
Theodore and Sasha

I was so sorry to hear about Georgia, it is always a hard time when one goes to the bridge.

Forever Georgia will be free to run and play without illness.
I liked your Daisy cards, they really are cute and I hope she wins the contest.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the latest installment of the CCSI series. I want to let you know that there will be reruns all weekend long. I am providing free pop and popcorn for those attending the show over the weekend. Also there will be a little something for you to take back home with when you leave.

Happy Memorial Weekend Fun!
