Midnight Monday

It is the second day of June and the warm, sunny weather is here to stay! Mommy and daddy turned the cool air thingy on so my windows are closed. That made me sad until they told be it would be in the high 80's and up to 90 degrees this week. I like warm sunbeams, but that kinda heat might make me sweat!
I'd hate my pretty black furs to get blond streaks from the sun.

My sweet lady cat sent me a fun red dot toy as a pressie for Valentine's Day. I play with it all the time! It keeps my House Panther reflexes in shape. I chase it, it goes back the other way and I need to do a quick 180 to catch it. I haven't yet...but I'm still trying.

Friends on Friday

Today is the day! Today is the wonderful wedding of Karl and Ruis. What an exciting day. It is always wonderful when two kitties, who are so in love can share it with friends and family. I can't wait to share this day with them. Bendrix and I wish you both a long and happy life together. Puuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssss and hugs to you both.

Thursday Updates

Hi all! They trimmed me. I am very bitter and mommy was not able to get any good shots of my last night. My beautiful looooooooong claws and now they are just stubby. Stubby! I think I'll scratch the sofa while they are out hunting today anyway.

Here are some pictures of how helpful a snoopervisor I am. On Monday, they painted the bedroom. Here I am helping mommy clear off the dresser (can you say "whap!")

I now give it 4 paws up. Green looks good with my panther black furs. See the square glass case on the left? That is mommy's bridal bouquet! It has lavendar and white daisies in it along with peach sweetheart roses and delf- delfe- um blue flowers. It looks nice with the green. The flowers are archived behind UV glass! My grandma did that for her.

Toes on Tuesday

Whew! My beans worked very hard this weekend. Then, just when they thought they were finished, they discovered water in the basement! The sewer drain (eeewww) backed up. Nasty.
Well, after all that, I needed to help daddy relax.


Now for the bad news. Tomorrow I have to go to the VET to get ALL FOUR PAWS CLIPPED! Mommy and daddy have noticed that my back claws are getting awfully long and I do NOT let them trip those. It is enough I bite and scratch them over trimming the front paws, I won't tolerate more than that. So, now she's asked the VET to do it. Bendrix and I are sharpening our claws and teeths on the couches and toys laying around today. We'll be ready for those VET techs. I wonder if I'll be gassed. I wish I could poop at will like Max. That would be great.

Friday For Bonnie

With the sudden loss of dear Bonnie yesterday, we'd decided not to make a new post today. Until we went to wish ML a happy birthday and saw the Meezers' and Kashim and Othello's great idea for a hug day and hug weekend.

Bendrix and I are very concerned about our sick friends MuShue and Bonnie. MuShue has been a long time friend and is a heroic Mancat who saved his sister from the fire. Bonnie is a no nonsense lady cat who even made Bendrix watch his behavior at the party. Even mommy can't make him do that! You both need to get all better soon!!!

Try again tomorrow. Mommy and daddy tried valiently to get me to jump last night for my entry in Kimo & Sabi's Jump and Shout contest, but I was just not in the mood.
