Formerly Feral Friday

Ah, I love being a former feral. After a beautiful sunny day of napping in sunbeams, after the blurpy boy has gone to bed, when the world is quiet, I can relax on and under soft afghans while mommy catches up on her Book Club book.

When I was feral, I never got to relax. Now, I can do it whenever I want. I hope you are getting to nap & relax in sunbeams too. purrrrrrrrs

Formerly Feral Friday

It has been cold, rainy and generally dreary here this week. I'm glad I'm a former feral who can enjoy watching the birdies out the window on my comfy window box by the vent and not have to be out in the wet.

I plan on spending most of the weekend on the sofa while the beans finish cleaning the basement and closets. Lucky for me there is a "Bring it on Cheerathon" on ABC Family all day Saturday so I won't be bored.

Formerly Feral Friday

First, please keep all the kitties and beans on the purr and prayer blog and cat blogsphere that need them purrs and prayers.

This is the very first picture taken of me EVER! To see more, including my story, see my formerly feral Friday post at the House Panther's website.

I should have known this was the first of a squillion flashes of the stoopid flashy box.

PS Go say hi to a new House Panther friend Mortimer. He is a middle aged panther kitty with a ouchy heart.

Formerly Feral Friday

I never really got to enjoy a warm sunbeam when I was feral. I had to always be on the alert. Now I can curl up in any sunbeam and drift off to dream sweet dreams of my Sugar Pie Brandi. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I thought I needed to show my softer side this week.

Formerly Feral, Fashion Friday

When I was a skinny, sickly feral, I had no idea that there was a whole other world out there. Warmth, food, servants waiting on my every whim (um, I mean mommies and daddies loving on me). I also had no idea that I could be selected for something as important as Artsy Catsy's Cat Advisory Board.
On top of that, now that mommy will be working from home 2 days a week, she will need an assistant. I'd seen Frodo's spiffy tie and knew that I would need a nice professional "suit" to complement my house panther furs for my new important positions. So, I sent mommy to Target and for $1.99, I now have a "power suit!"

I think I look very smart and serious.

This is my "boardroom face."

What do you think of my professional duds?

Fomerly Feral Friday

I haven't done one of these in a while, and since mommy is a scrapbooking maniac right now, she is looking at all her older albumns. She can't believe how far I've come!

Man, look how skinny I was. This was about my second week in my forever home.

I don't have that problem anymore!
