Midnight Monday - Photographer in Training

Yup, he is taking pictures of me, she is taking pictures of both of us. It must be hereditary, a sickness.

Mommy is trying to take pictures from different angles and stuff. Nothing fancy, just something to make the scrapbook pictures look, well, different.I say, leave me alone, I finally have a sunbeam.

Midnight Monday - House Panther Action Shots

As I get closer to age 9, it is harder to get action shots of me. I think these are awesome ones! I heart my snake.

MIdnight Monday and the Red Mat

I'm gonna get you red mat.

*bunny kick bunny kick bunny kick* Kill Kill Kill!

I feel much better now. Sometimes a House Panther just needs to shread something. Now it it time for a nap.

Things were wild here last week. Daddy had to go away on business with very little notice, the stinky boy's sitter got sick and then the stinky boy did too! Nothing major, just sore throat and achy (he never runs fevers). Than it snowed and iced and got so cold that mommy couldn't even run errands cause the garage door froze to the floor.

Luckily daddy got home on Saturday safe and sound but I lost my spot on the bed again. sigh.

Mommy says that she's had enough "family togetherness" and is ready to go back to work tomorrow. I'm ready for the boy to go to the sitter's and stop terrorizing me. I think he has had enough time stuck at home too! I can't wait to have the bed, sofa, loveseat, laundry hamper all to myself! Where to nap first? Anyone want to come over and enjoy an empty house?

Easy Like Monday?

Yup, you read right, easy like Monday morning. My daddy is off work for the rest of the year!!! Whoo hoo!

Mommy has to work today, tomorrow and next Tuesday in the store, but I'll have daddy home the whoooole time. And, to make it even sweeter, Baby Joel will still go to his sitter tomorrow! The three of us will hang in the Mancave today, but hopefully Joel & Tole will spend a lot of time in the "cages". Tomorrow, it'll just be me and daddy.

I had a great weekend! My sweet girlfriend cat Brandi sent Joel and I some awesome stuff for Christmas. I won't get a "gift" this year cause mommy and daddy are going to put that money toward baby gates to keep Joel/Toel "contained." The ones they want have a cut out door that will let me go thru, but not him. heh heh heh

I'm glad they didn't make me wait until Friday to open it! I'll show you my special gift first and you can see Joel's tomorrow. I figured it would be to much cuteness to see us both in the same post.

I snarfed up the Dentabites before mommy could snap the picture! nom nom nom No wonder they are my sweet Brandi's favorite treat.

Here is my other gift. It is perfect! Mommy thinks me and Joel will be like this "perfect friends" ornament someday. Um. Sure. I'll admit, it is a nice idea. AND look close, there is a birdie on it!

This is such a thoughtful gift. Mommy marked on the bottom that Brandi and Carol sent this in 2009 for me and Joel's first Christmas together.

She hung it high enough for me to see it, but not knock it when I go under the trees. Thank you dear Brandi and mommy Carol! I couldn't ask for a more thoughtful girlfriendcat or mommycatinlaw (is that right?). purrrrrrrrrrrs

Midnight Monday Manic Version

I don't know what got into me but I was a crazy maniac cat this morning! I started with my flingamastring toy. Loved it! Then I scratched at the basement door to run around down there. I ran and ran and played and raced up the stairs and jumped in the tub.

Mommy was cracking up and even put Joel down to get some pictures. I don't know what got into me, but I hope it doesn't happen again. It felt to much like exercise!

Future Cat Servent in training...

Just when we thought the little sh...um, #2 would start sleeping...he starts teething! He has 2 teeth coming in and is a drooly mess. Give me a kitten any day, at least they are clean. Jeez.

Mommy promises to get my Halloween contest photo in to Hansel's contest before the deadline. Any bets on if that happens or not? You'd better go enter now if you haven't!

Be sure to come back on Friday, October 30th for the Scariest 4 minutes and 16 seconds you'll ever see. Bring your smelling salts, it'll be a Halloween Eve you'll never forget.

Midnight Monday, Breakfast Edition

I had a number of kitties ask me how I managed to get breakfast in bed. BTW, it was a total of 4 days in a row!! The weekend got all screwy and this morning there was a squirrel on the deck rail so I got up earlier than mommy today.

It started one cold winter morning last year. Our bedroom has a big window, an attic and 2 outside walls so it is coooooooold. Mommy noticed I hadn't followed her to the kitchen for my breakfast stinky goodness. When she saw I was still all tucked into bed and looking so cozy and warm, she went back to the kitchen and brought me a plate to bed.

Being a smart House Panther, I noticed on the days I don't follow her into the kitchen, and stay all curled up in the covers, regardless of the weather, mommy will bring me breakfast in bed! Important note about looking comfortable. It is not just important to look cozy (after all, if you look to cozy your bean may not want to "disturb" you with breakfast). It is important to look a little hungry and pitiful that you aren't eating....

Remember, hungry, pitiful and cozy =

Stinky goodness in bed!

It is hard to tell cause everything is still out of order (we don't know why), but mommy worked for hours updating our blogrolling list. She still has more to do, including emailing them to find out why even tho on the "edit" list things are in alphabetical order, they don't show up that way, but she actually buckled down and worked on it! I was almost proud of her...

Mancat Monday

Sometimes Mancats know when to be patient. Mommy had such a long weekend I let her sleep in today. She was so happy I got extra stinky goodness. Things have been so stressful here lately she needed the rest.

Thank you all for your purrs and prayers. They are working. Echo is eating some Temptations and he also ate some stinky goodness (which believe it or not he has never liked!). We think it might be gentler on his tummy than his crunchies. He finally made a deuce in the box and that is a good sign. He is being watched closely.

My GGma is resting more comfortably because they raised her pain meds. When mommy first got there yesterday she was in such pain. Now she is sleeping more and more which is good because that means she is feeling more comfy.

We should hear about Mason any day now. He is acting just fine so we are hoping for good news.

My grandpa isn't going to his physical therapy today (he has a muscular skelaton issue that they haven't figured out yet) just in case my grandma needs him and so he can watch Echo and we're hoping he doesn't get drawn up with all the stress and no PT.

I am a lucky House Panther in that with the weather in the 60s and mommy working from home today I can stalk my prey thru an open window. Watch out squirrls! I'll be chattering at you!
