Fomerly Feral Fashion Friday

It has been a very sad week on the blogosphere. We'll be participating in Kashim & Othello's Weekend Cat Blogging Remembering this weekend. We will light our candle tonight. Please stop by their blog for the lovely candle they made for our friends who left us to soon.

Mommy started her new jobbie this week, and I decided since she was home 2 days a week, I would need two outfits. Mommy will work from home Wednesday's and Thursdays. I saw Mao's tie from a few posts ago, and although flowers usually are a girl pattern, I thought it could be my "casual Thursday" outfit, showing my softer, fun side. Of course, I do have my power tie for important meetings and decision making.

These photos were all taken during my lunch/siesta break. I am to serious about sitting on files, walking on keyboards and watching the printer print to be interupted for a photo shoot during work hours. Perhaps next week I'll let mommy take some "action shots" of me at my post.

See, with a lot of effort and smarts, a former feral can make it all the way to a board room.

ManCat Monday - New Camera

I love the way the new camera highlights my ManCat muscles and furs even in our dark basement. I used to look like a big black blob, but now I have highlights on my furs and muscles! I can't say I enjoy the flashy box, but this one is certainly an improvement.

Saturday Sweating

Hi all! It has been so hot here that my typists don't want to be upstairs (the master bedroom is on the first floor). They don't have curtains up here where the computer is so it gets really hot and they've been keeping the doors shut to the rest of the house. It has been at 100 degrees this week!

They have been moving furniture around up here and adding a file cabinet (nice cool seating for my tushy) so when mommy is working from home she is more organized. They hoped to have curtains up too, but haven't found what they like, and they don't want to run many errands because of the heat.

Thanks to all my friends who kept my company while my beans were gone. It was a great time of lotsa playing, napping and eating all the good treats. Max is right, it is kinda good they go away. Why? Because when the grandparents visit, it is all about ME!!! Me, me, me. No laundry, dusting, cleaning, cooking. Just play time and treat time and pet time.

My daddy gave my mommy a new flashy box. A nice Cannon Power Shot S315 when they got to Gatlenburg. She has been taking a squillion photos of me since they got back. What was he thinking? More on that later.

On a serious note, I am very upset our dear friend Anastasia is missing. We are purring and praying for her quick and safe return. We are also thinking of her bean family and brother Karl. Please stop by and lend your support.

Sad Saturday

Dear Friends, my mommy told me last night she and daddy are going on a trip. I will not be going with them. sigh. I thought when they said "vacation" they meant more time with me. But no.
They will be leaving today and not coming back on Tuesday. Mommy sayz that if I nap lots it'll go very quickly and that they are off work all of next week (well, mommy works Friday but daddy will be home) and I'll get lotsa time with them then.
She also said that my grandma and grandpa will be coming over 2 times a day (I'll admit, they always stay for a while and spoil me) and they'll be bringing something called "da bird" for me. I don't know what that is, but it sounds AWESOME.
Bendrix is happy to have the bed all to ourselves. I'll admit, between daddy snoring and pillow tossing (sometimes he yanks a pillow from under his head and randomly throws it in his sleep) and mommy's bad back tossing and turning and talking in her sleep, I am WAY behind on my beauty rest.
Of course I feel less guilty hunting those under the cover mousies when they are the reason I'm awake!
So dear friends, if you want to tely-port over, it is a great time. The curtains are open, the catnip plants have recovered and apparantly, there will be "da bird" here!

Middle Name MeMe & Nose Twin

Hi! My awesome royal buddy Yao-lintagged me for the middle name MeMe. You may or may not know, my namesake is James Marshal Hendrix otherwise known as Jimi Hendrix. Born James Allen Hendrix, his middle name was changed by his father for reasons unknown so it is pretty universal his "official" middle name was "Marshal".
First the rules:

This is a condition lotsa house panthers suffer at one time or another. It is called "to dark, no nose syndrome" and it happens when the flashy box comes out.
