ManCat Monday - Yoga Style part 2

ManCats should not only be flexible physically as I mentioned in my "Yoga Style" post, but mentally. We should be able to adapt to our surroundings quickly. Skittles' Yoga classes have helped me to focus and relax. Here is an example of what I mean.
In this situation, daddy was hanging curtains. In order to get the ladder by the window, my window box/toy box had to be moved. Daddy put it on the couch next to the window. Well, I wanted to lay on my window box. I meowed and paced and got all upset until I remembered to take deep breaths and focus. I then realized the window box was on my favorite spot on the couch. I got an idea. I adjusted my original plan and I think, found a good compromise....

As you can see, I was in a perfect snoopervisory position.

Wow, all the drilling, activity and snoopervising wore me out!

PS I am finally feeling more myself. I'm playing more and my coat looks much shinier. I even got a new toy I'll tell you all about tomorrow!

Ingenuity at its finest. You were really good not to get upset at your dad. You look very comfy on your toy box on the sofa.

I think that's quite right that sometimes we cats must be flexible about those things that are humans do! You've given us a perfect example...

Mr. Hendrix, we are so glad you are feeling better! I'm sorry we did not come wish you well before this. We have an intruder at our house that is very small and very black! Also, I wanted to thank you for advocating so hard on behalf of Victor Tabbycat. I think we might be on our way to being very special friends! (I probably should go tell him that before I tell you, huh? But I plan to post a little bit about it tomorrow on Toes Tuesday, so shhhhhhhh till then!)

Your friend,
Sadie

Our moms and dads should know how much moving our stuff bugs us. And they always do that the exact moment we need it! I'm glad you found a way around it. And I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, too!
