Purrs County on Kats Rule Rd., Ohio, United States
Mommy was driving home from work on Nov. 3, 2004, when she saw a little black head on the side of the road. I saw the lady stop, get out of the car, and come over my way. I was curious, and comfy so I just lay there. She looked really worried & said she thought I’d been hurt and that she was going to go home to “get Greg” & I should just wait there.
Being a cat I’m naturally inquisitive, so I decided to wait & see what she meant. When she came back she had a nice man with her & when he squatted down & called me, I ran right to his lap. Hey, it seemed like a nice place to be. Mommy scooped me up & took me home to take care of me. They said I was going to be their very own kitty & set about “fattening me up.” I’ve been pampered and spoiled ever since.
I'm also named for a guitar god.

We will always remember.
We remember too. Our Big One used to be a police officer and while he wasn't one then anymore, he has a friend who was one of the first called in to help find survivors after the buildings fell.
I got lots of hugs that day, when my OTW thought about all the kitties and dogs whose 'Big Ones' weren't coming home, and all the OTWs who never got to say goodbye because someone they loved ran into a burning crumbling building to save someone else.
(PS. thank you for the birthday wishes, we're thinking of another house trashing when they go away AGAIN in a couple weeks! We need ideas of stuff to trash)
Seven years! I was just a youngcat back then. We Aussiecats join with you in remembering those who were lost, and those whose lives will never be the same again.
Me, too. I remember.
I do remember. It brings back a lot of memories and emotions. Let's hope all of our governmental officials, no matter what their political party remember what this day really was, an attack on Americans!
Good photos to remember with. We will never forget in our family.
love & wags,
A very nice tribute! I remember tha day well. Mom and I were sitting on the living room floor watching Regis and Kelly when they broke in and announced it! Mom and I will never get over that!
We could never forget that tragic day ... your remembrance is beautiful!

Purrs to everyone.
This is a beautiful tribute
today is such a very sad day for many many people.. For others, it was a happy day at one time. today is the 25th anniversary of mom and dad getting married. Dad was at the Pentagon on 9/11 in the morning at a meeting. We are lucky. He came home to us.
We will never forget !
