Purrs County on Kats Rule Rd., Ohio, United States
Mommy was driving home from work on Nov. 3, 2004, when she saw a little black head on the side of the road. I saw the lady stop, get out of the car, and come over my way. I was curious, and comfy so I just lay there. She looked really worried & said she thought I’d been hurt and that she was going to go home to “get Greg” & I should just wait there.
Being a cat I’m naturally inquisitive, so I decided to wait & see what she meant. When she came back she had a nice man with her & when he squatted down & called me, I ran right to his lap. Hey, it seemed like a nice place to be. Mommy scooped me up & took me home to take care of me. They said I was going to be their very own kitty & set about “fattening me up.” I’ve been pampered and spoiled ever since.
I'm also named for a guitar god.
Hee hee! I do the same thing to my dad on the weekend. I start walking all over him at the time the food alarm normally goes off.
Great photo. :)
Hello Mr. Hendrix,
I like to sit on my mommy's head when she tries to sleep in and then Eliot sits beside her and makes biscuits until she get up.
We'd love to be introduced on the cat blogosphere; we like going to there to see everything that's going on.
Thank you and it's very nice to meet you. We'll be adding you to our blogroll this weekend; I plan to do some revamping.
Gud Morning Mr. Hendrix!
Boo does the same fink to Momma when she doesn't get up!! She calls her her kitty alarm!
He, he. We have the same problem here. When Mom does not want to get up, Bubbles pokes her in the eye with his paw. That always makes her jump, he, he.
Poor Mommy! I can guess who won!
When this situation arises for me, I have several things I can do: chase the girls until they make lots of noise (What's going on ... Luxor?) or go for the exposed foot at the end of the bed. "LUXOR!"
Either way, I get my food.
Oh Mr. Hendrix! You are too silly!
Don't you hate when they sleep too long on Saturday morning? I mean, we have to be FEED!!
You gots to pounce on her head! That's the only way dude!
Oh Mr. Hendrix, I do that sometimes but I like to get my ears rubbed first. The early morning is my time for attention.
We leave Mommie and Daddy alone, the younger beans boffer them enough.
Tucker is our waker-upper in our house. He is trying to take the covers off of the Mother as soon as the alarm buzzes!
Luf yur 6 word story!! Awesum, dude.
Hey, this is "wordless" wednesday! Just kiddin' with ya Hendrix! I have to side with your mommy on this one though. [sighing] Kids!
Awe, that is so sweet of you Mr. Hendrix. Wat you sed is makin owr Maw's eyes leak. Thank you. She sumtimes loses confidence in beans after being in the rescue bizness. (She sumtimes tells Paw dat they could live in da mansion wid wat dey spend on us poodies!!)
Pounce early and often.
Hee hee you looks jus like me sitting on the Dad till he gets up. Mom don't put up wif me kneading her butt fur too long. She usually kicks me off da bed. Do you get instant gratifikation to get the Mom out of bed when you sit on her?
I also do the same thing! I sit on Mom's chest and give her love pats till she gets up! Tara
With 4 of us here, there's no such thing as "sleeping in". We simply won't allow it!
"sleeping in"? hahaha - as if! they still gotta get up at the same (early) time efurry day ta feed us. they can go back ta bed after that if they want, but they'd better not mess up OUR schedule!
Hi mr hendrix!!
Thanks for the heads up on Rosie and Cheeto's blog.
I wake the woman up by sitting right by her head and purring as loud as I can. I mean... who can get mad at a purring cat?
Hi, Mr. Hendrix, I just want to tell you that your caption at Purrchance to Dream made me laugh!
Ha ha, that looks like our mom tryin' to hide from us and sleep!
We likes your six word story too!
Too funny! Tell your mom there's "no rest for the weary!" We really like your six word story! And thanks, we took yours and Millie's advice and submited our butts to catsinbags.com
Isn't it terrible!? Our beans just want to sleep while we are starving?!
Wake up already, Mommy!
